About the Role

Teryair Equipment Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and dynamic Assistant General Manager - Export Sales to spearhead our international sales drive.


This is a strategic role where the individual will be responsible for creating and executing business development strategies to acquire new customers and grow our international sales. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and self-driven. A quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way by giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows.


The individual is expected to travel frequently, have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics. The international sales representatives will focus on finding new customers, and promote and sell the company’s products. He will negotiate and write contracts, coordinate deliveries with production and distribution, and service their accounts. Identify potential clients within specific industries, businesses, or organizations that might have a need for products or services offered by the company, Identify opportunities for client growth by offering additional products or services that complement existing offerings Maintain clients’ records in a computer database

  

What we offer:

A well-structured induction program so that the candidate understands the company’s operations, sales processes and product offerings. This is a full-time role located in Mumbai, with some flexibility for remote work.

Salary scale 30+ Lacs per annum + variable component depending on the individual’s contribution to new sales.

Other perks include PF, Family Insurance, Per diem allowance during travel

Candidates staying in Mumbai and Mumbai suburbs

 

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in international sales and business development, preferably in marine or similar industry or industrial technical products.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Preferable for the candidate to have an engineering degree
  • Excellent knowledge of international markets – Europe, Americas. Middle East and Asia Pacific
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Demonstrable experience in formulating and executing international sales strategies, and meeting sales targets.
  • The role requires extensive knowledge of international markets, sales experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with
  • clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of at least one other language.
