WORK EXPERIENCE:

12+ years of total experience and having relevant experience of at least 8 years in

Server & Storage and people management.

  • Expertise in Windows Server/Linux
  • AWS Technologies (Source Control Management, Amazon Simple Storage
  • Service - S3, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud EC2, Cold storage and
  • Encryption at rest)
  • Nutanix, VMWare, Hyper V and Veeam environments.
  • Cost Optimization.
  • People Management.
  • Service Delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • The manager of the Server and Storage team is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of standards and management of all Server and Storage devices across the enterprise Managing the day to day activities of the Server and Support engineers.
  • This individual will have solid technical experience in managing the servers on-prem and AWS,, strong communication skills, as well as leadership skills to effectively manage the dedicated Server team to support existing and implement new systems
  • Condé Nast while ensuring quality and efficiency in the support provided to the business and other technology teams globally.
  • The role will support the development of standards and procedures to be used by all markets maintaining a high level of documentation and architectural diagrams.
  • This individual will have solid technical infrastructure experience with a good understanding of AWS, automation and Infrastructure as code technologies.
  • Will need to be a strong team player in an international team spread across HQs, hub and market locations
  • With a degree of change at Condé Nast, this role will need to ensure alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong working knowledge in AWS including S3, EC2, Cold storage, IAM & data security and DevOps.
  • Should have implemented cost optimization projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Exceptional leadership skills, that develop, inspire, and motivate staff to align with and deliver the global Technology and business strategy
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with eye to details and reporting.
  • Strong time management, problem solving skills and communication skills.
