Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture with minimum 5 years of experience in any reputed organization.


A Horticulture Officer is responsible for managing, supervising, and promoting the cultivation and maintenance of plants, gardens, and landscapes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Plant Care & Management: Oversee the cultivation of plants, including selection, planting, and maintenance.
  2. Research & Development: Study plant species, pests, diseases, and environmental factors to improve plant growth and sustainability.
  3. Advisory Role: Provide advice to farmers, gardeners, or landowners on soil management, pest control, and planting methods.
  4. Landscape Design: Assist in the design and layout of public and private gardens, parks, and other green spaces.
  5. Education & Training: Conduct workshops and training for the staff on best horticultural practices.
