Key Responsibilities:


Curriculum Development:

  • Write and co-write curriculum in collaboration with major technical educational institutions in India.
  • Ensure the educational content is robust and beneficial for large Indian technical institutions.


Training and Certification:

  • Act as the educational specialist for the UR India team.
  • Train customers and future training partners.
  • Certify new partners and trainers in the region.
  • Deliver training to end users and support certified trainers.


Partner and Program Management:

  • Ensure high-performing training partners in your region.
  • Support training partners to consistently train more customers.
  • Drive the review of certified trainer performance and implement improvements.
  • Expand and enable the training portfolio for Academy partners to increase the number of trained participants.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure consistency and high-quality training across the region.
  • Implement global programs locally and support other regions in their rollout.
  • Strive for continuous improvement of training content and methods.


Key Duties / Deliverables:

  • Ensure UR’s educational curriculum is strong and effective for technical institutions in India.
  • Facilitate and deliver certification trainings.
  • Implement regional improvements to enhance training programs.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality training content.
  • Provide ongoing support to certified trainers.
  • Roll out global programs and support their implementation in other regions.


Success Criteria:

  • Establish UR as the preferred partner for technical educational institutions.
  • Ensure Academy partners adopt both digital and in-class courses.
  • Maintain global consistency in training programs.
  • Achieve high NPS scores from certified trainers.
  • Continuously develop training programs to meet market needs.
  • Drive a high number of high-quality training sessions.
  • Ensure channel and distribution partners effectively facilitate trainings.


Skills:

  • Documented experience creating technical curriculum at the vocational school level or higher.
  • Practical experience in automation and/or robotic programming.
  • Experience with technical training and customer interactions.
  • Strong business and educational acumen.
  • Knowledge of implementing and facilitating technical or specialty training.
  • Understanding of effective learning strategies.
  • Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate cross-cultural differences effectively.


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • Background as an industrial designer with technical expertise or a technical educator.


Experience:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the robotics or automation industry.
  • At least three years of experience in education or curriculum development.
  • Proven experience in developing and conducting seminars or training sessions.


Personality:

  • Passionate about integrating training with commercial growth.
  • Dedicated to making a difference in education.
  • Enjoys being “on stage” and facilitating learning.
  • Focused on achieving positive learning outcomes.
