Chief Operating Officer (COO)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer for our leading Pharma client. As the COO, you will be responsible for leading the Operations with a strategic mindset.

Company Overview 

Harman Finochem Limited is a professionally managed independent company engaged in manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical ingredients (API's) and FDF.The company was established way back in 1983 by Late Bhupinder Singh Manhas, the CMD of the company. It is a leading India-based Pharmaceutical Company which specializes in the manufacture and export of more than 45+ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APls) of which 10+ are Essential Drugs as per the WHO Model List. .

Harman delivers top quality products to more than 75+ mostly regulated markets across the globe from their Plants.

-     Manufacturer and Exporter of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. 

-  Three API manufacturing sites at Aurangabad and one upcoming at Amraoti. 

-  The company has a large formulation plants in Aurangabad and the second  one is under construction. 

-     The company is also coming up with second R&D set ups besides  one in Aurangabad and one in New Mumbai. 

-  Supply of API's as a Major Thrust Area to Pharma and Generic companies. 

-       Certificate of recognition as 'EXPORT HOUSE'​ by Government of India. 

-       State of the art manufacturing facilities inspected and complying with cGMP norms as per USFDA,EU -GMP, TGA, PIC, WHO – GMP, Schedule M and Japanese Foreign Accreditation. 


Chief  Operating Officer (COO)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer to be based at Aurangabad for our leading Pharma client-Harman Finochem.

Job Responsibility:

 To spearhead and provide leadership to the API operations and work closely with the business.    

a) Drive initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency across all aspects of the Operations including supply chain management.

b) Implement best practices such as Kaizan,Daily Work Management (DWM),TotalProductiveMaintenance(TPM),MAP Index to improve operational efficiency.

c) Familiarity with SAP environment and usage of various modules used in Operations.

c) Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation between Operations and Corporate teams, leveraging diverse expertise to drive business growth.

d) Conduct thorough scenario analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks. Ensure plants are all time ready for Inspections.

e)Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and deliver value to customers.

f) Lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration.

g) Identify and develop high-potential team members, empowering them to become future leaders within the organization.

h) Promote a strong focus on talent development, cultural alignment, and effective communication to execute the company's vision seamlessly.

i) In the current Role should have managed a Cluster of API plants ( Minimum two organisations) for at least 5 years.

j) High ethical standards and integrity.

k)  Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make tough decisions.

l )   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  1. m)   Position reports into the Directors .


Education & Experience

Chemical Engineer /Technologist or a Masters in Science with Minimum of 25 years experience .
