What is this role about?
As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to help design, develop, and launch products that enhance the educational journey for our users. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your product management skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll:
- Product Strategy: Assist in defining the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and user needs.
- Market Research: Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and gather insights to identify opportunities and refine product features.
- Roadmap Development: Collaborate with senior product managers to prioritize features, set timelines, and execute the product roadmap.
- Product Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and content teams to ensure product development aligns with user requirements and business goals.
- User-Centric Design: Gather and analyze feedback from students, teachers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve product functionality and user experience.
- Product Launches: Support product launch activities by coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and data to track product performance and iterate on product features to enhance usability and engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between various teams including engineering, design, and marketing to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of product features, requirements, and updates to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and address potential product issues and areas for improvement through testing and iteration.
To win, you will need:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field from IITs or IIMs.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of software development processes, UX/UI design, and working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Figma.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product ideas and strategies effectively.
- User-Centric Mindset: Passion for creating products that provide a seamless learning experience, with a focus on the needs of students, educators, and parents.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with experience in managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.
