You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial record-keeping, tax compliance, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software.⸻⸻⸻⸻💼 The Accountant will be responsible for:- Maintaining accurate and organised financial records using accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Excel, and bookkeeping)- Recording daily financial transactions, invoices, expenses, and payments- Preparing and reconciling bank statements and GL accounts- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions- Preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports and statements- Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations- Conducting internal audits and identifying discrepancies- Supporting external auditors during annual audit processes- Managing petty cash and maintaining financial documentation- Assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting- Providing support to the senior accounting team on ad-hoc financial projects- Ensuring timely filing of statutory compliances and tax returns⸻⸻⸻⸻Required Qualifications & Skills 🎖️Education:- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field (mandatory)- CA/CMA in progress or completed is a plus, but not mandatory⸻⸻⸻⸻Experience: 🔢- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience- Experience in GST/tax compliance is preferred- Familiarity with Indian tax and accounting standards⸻⸻⸻⸻Technical Skills: 🧑‍💻- Proficiency in Tally ERP or QuickBooks (mandatory)- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets- Accounting software experience (billing/invoice management)- Basic understanding of financial statements and balance sheets⸻⸻⸻⸻Soft Skills and other requirements: - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Strong numerical aptitude- Organisational and time management skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Clear communication and interpersonal skills- Discretion and confidentiality in handling financial data- Own transportation for office visits- Comfortable working in a team environment- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools/systems⸻⸻⸻⸻What We Offer- Competitive CTC: ₹35,000 - ₹40,000/month (In-hand)- Professional development and training support- Career progression opportunities
