Head - Immersive Technologies

Cavin Infotech is a newly born Digital Startup with a backing of large FMCG organization. We work as a Digital Enabler for a large FMCG organization to bring Innovation and Transformation. Combining data science, human-centered design, and the latest rapid development techniques—using agile methodology, micro-services based architecture, Cloud-Native Principles and DevSecOps—we deliver breakthrough products, platforms, experiences, and Services. We combine Distributed Data Engineering Technologies and Integrate Deep Learning based AI methodologies to gain more value for our businesses.

As a vital member of our Immersive Technologies Team, your role will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and integration of cutting-edge AR, VR, and XR solutions for our organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, leadership skills, and active involvement in business development to drive innovation and shape the future of technology within our company.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for devising strategies, overseeing projects, and ensuring the successful integration of immersive technologies (AR / VR / XR) across various products and offerings
  • Define and execute the technology roadmap for AR, VR and XR ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and industry trends
  • Lead the design and development of proprietary AR, VR, and XR tools, ensuring they enhance business processes and customer experiences
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and other relevant entities to stay at the forefront of technological advancements
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technology experts, including AR/VR developers, technology and other specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning
  • Actively engage in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and contributing to the growth of AR, and VR projects
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, content creators, and subject matter experts to achieve project objectives
  • Experiment with emerging technologies and techniques to push the boundaries of what is possible in immersive experiences

Knowledge Skills & Attributes

  • Proven experience (minimum of 15 years) in a leadership role focused on Immersive or Advanced technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies, platforms, and development tools
  • Hands-on experience in developing Interactive applications on various channels like web, mobile, watch etc.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, UI/UX design principles, and 3D graphics/rendering techniques
  • Track record of successfully leading and delivering innovative technology projects
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of immersive experiences
  • A strong background and portfolio of projects delivered using Unreal / Unity
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Preferred if candidates have created tools and content for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest or similar products / experiences
  • Awareness of privacy, security, and ethical considerations in immersive technology applications
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
  • 15+ years of Total experience in Software Product and Technology
