Domnic Lewis is hiring for a leading Oil & Gas industry client for the role of Structural Engineer in Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in structural design for oil, gas, and chemical projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-24 years of experience and be ready to lead and manage complex engineering projects across different phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and designers, making independent decisions to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Deliver engineering across all project phases: Concept, Basic, and Detailed design.
  • Provide leadership and governance in project execution, ensuring performance evaluation and project milestones are met.
  • Design expertise in:
  • Pipe racks and technological structures.
  • Foundations for static and vibrating equipment.
  • RCC and blast-resistant structures.
  • Steel connections and detailing.
  • Drainage and pavement (preferred).
  • Proficient in design codes (American/Euro) and tools like STAAD Pro, MAT3D, and Foundation 3D.
  • Ensure cross-disciplinary coordination with piping, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Manage productivity, schedule, and stakeholder communication, including interaction with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • 5-24 years of experience in structural design for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Chemical Plant industries.
  • Expertise in design codes (American/Euro) and proficiency in STAAD Pro, MAT3D, and Foundation 3D.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior engineers and designers.
