Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Procurement Manager. The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management. As an assistant Manager, you procure goods and services, optimise procurement processes, analyse data, and provide strategic insights to enhance organisational decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing Procurement strategies to optimize the cost & ensure quality.
• Oversee the day-to-day procurement activities, including analysis of cost sheets and cost drivers, and provide valuable insights to make sourcing decisions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with supplies to secure the best possible agreements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, remove non-value-added activities and implement best industry practices in procurement
- Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation skills
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management
