Position: Mechanical Engineer SMP #3 Auxiliary Systems


Location: Hazira, India


Company: Join the largest steel manufacturer in Hazira, India, as you are responsible for overseeing the completion of assignments within SMP #3 Auxiliary Systems - GCP, Gas Holder FES, and Sec. Dedusting areas.


Responsibilities:


Work closely with the Section Head to ensure end-to-end management of projects from concept to commissioning and production stabilization within defined timelines and budgets.

Actively participate in similar projects within the group.

Requirements:


Education: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 10-15 years in similar project management and Operations & Maintenance (O&M).


Expertise: Subject matter expert in SMP Auxiliary Systems with in-depth knowledge in at least two areas from GCP, Gas Holder, FES, and Sec. Dedusting, and familiarity with one more sub-area within SMP.


Skills: Proficient in both project management and O&M practices.


Excellent communication skills, open to feedback, and adept at leading by example.


Leadership: Capable of setting and achieving challenging targets, strategic thinker with the ability to devise and execute strategies as per requirements.


Innovation: Strong in innovative thinking, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and inspiring teams to explore new approaches based on evolving circumstances.
