Engineers – Piping

Piping Stress Engineer:

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Job Location: Chennai

Job Profile:

· Conduct pipe stress engineering of piping systems as per ASME, ANSI B31.3 code needs using Caesar II software program.

· Perform evaluation of nozzle loads or vessels stress utilizing WRC 107/297 capability of Caesar II program.

· Develop engineering computations and evaluations.

· Conduct complex engineering tasks along with key engineering work properly and efficiently.

· Ensure to extract engineering data from CAD drawings as well as computer models.

· Coordinate design of exclusive pipe supports as needed.

· Ensure to complete different assignments like drawings, parameters and varied materials apt for procurement plus construction purposes.

· Interact frequently with various engineering disciplines and departments.

· Develop detailed requisitions for pipe stress equipment and materials.

· Review vendor drawing submittals and conduct technical bid evaluation.

· Develop and issue parameters, data sheets and varied construction documents.

· Guide technically to CAD designer or drafters and engineers working on same pipe stress project.

· Perform as advisory facility to senior management staff on engineering pertinent matters.

· Support lead pipe stress engineer to develop and review pipe reinforcement job parameters.

Requirements:

· BE (Mechanical) with 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent

· Familiar with functioning and requirements of piping and plant design & stress group.

· Has worked with for upstream oil & gas projects or similar consulting companies or related industries on a project.


Piping Engineer:

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Job Location: Chennai

Job Profile:

· Carrying out various piping activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project.

· Signing drawings and documents as originator in accordance with correct procedures.

· Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc.

· Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and projects standards.

· Adhering to company’s engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.

· Correct implementation of all piping CAD and system related functions in their appointed area.

Requirements:

· BE (Mechanical) with 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent

· Familiar with functioning and requirements of piping and plant design group having main strength in at least one area of piping design discipline.

· Has worked with for upstream oil & gas projects or similar consulting companies or related industries on a project.

· Has experience in assisting to produce common piping deliverables including plot plans, isometrics, 3D models and other basic drawings required for an engineering project.
