Position: Sales Manager - Alternate Trade Channels


Location: Mumbai/ Delhi


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement strategies to drive sales across alternative trade channels, fostering partnerships with gifting platforms, Airlines, Theatre’s (INOX, PVR), Café’s (premium- CCD’s Barista), Tie up with Liquor companies, Premium Hotel chains (mini bars), brand collaborations, event management companies, corporate gifting (Pharma -preferred) and other unconventional channels.


Coordinate with brands for white labelling initiatives, including the production of energy bars and retail packs of dry fruits, to enhance product offerings.


Propose innovative solutions to streamline and optimize order placement processes, enhancing operational efficiency.


Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets within the alternate trade channel.


Monitor channel performance, analyse trends, and identify growth opportunities, leveraging insights to enhance channel effectiveness.


Conduct regular performance reviews, deliver targeted training sessions, and implement strategies to improve team productivity and performance.


Prepare comprehensive sales reports and analysis, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making.


Requirements:


Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.


Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales management, specifically within the alternate trade channel.


Experience collaborating with companies with a turnover exceeding 100 crores.


Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.


Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
