We are looking for a Sr Patient Assistance Program Manager for a Global Pharmaceutical MNC based in Bangalore.

The Sr. Patient Assistance Program (PAP) Manager is responsible for developing and supporting innovative programs designed for underserved communities. This role requires creating tailored solutions for diverse population segments through robust internal collaboration and external strategic partnerships. The Sr. PAP Manager will lead with a focus on patient-centered priorities, aligning with organizational values and behaviors. The role demands expertise in program management, collaboration, negotiation, data analysis, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Program Management:

  • Coordinate with the Pricing team, Medical Affairs, and business units to drive key PAP initiatives.
  • Stay updated on PAP developments and explore opportunities to enhance access.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team (Sales), compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, and implementation partners to advance PAP goals.
  • Engage with key customers to gather feedback, oversee PAP progress, and maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and documentation standards.
  • Maintain and regularly update the historical database.
  • Identify the need for localized studies to support business objectives.
  • Assist in forecasting PAP requirements.
  • Analyze PAP reports and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Acquire and utilize necessary skills for effective PAP execution using organizational tools.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Map and engage key stakeholders/accounts to enhance PAP and Pricing excellence, identifying gaps and opportunities between Access and Pricing.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve efficiencies in Access and Pricing.
  • Oversee the successful roll-out of programs to internal and external customers, including training and awareness initiatives.
  • Conduct regular meetings to track program execution, improving enrollment and treatment continuity.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly progress reports across departments.
  • Conduct fieldwork with strategic partners and the commercial team to identify opportunities and gather feedback.
  • Manage resources for both internal teams and strategic partners.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and distributors to ensure efficient therapy accessibility.

  • Proficiency in MS Office for data analysis and management.
  • Knowledge of access attributes and barriers specific to therapy.
  • Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and partnership management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including experience in Market Access and Patient Assistance Programs.
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, Excel management, and proposal development.
