The successful candidate will work to ensure that information security is effectively integrated into projects and business change initiatives. This role will also involve coordinating penetration testing activities and supporting governance processes related to security consultancy.


Key Responsibilities:


Information Security Integration:

  • Collaborate with Security Consultants to embed information security requirements into project plans and business change initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security controls and practices to safeguard organizational assets.

Penetration Testing Coordination:

  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to schedule and manage penetration testing activities.
  • Track and document findings, ensuring timely remediation and reporting.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Support governance activities related to security consultancy, including policy development, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain records of security assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks associated with projects and business changes.
  • Provide recommendations for risk treatment and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, procedures, and findings.
  • Generate regular reports on security activities, penetration testing results, and governance metrics for review by senior management.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between security teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on security-related issues and progress.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security analysis, risk management, or governance.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse security risks and vulnerabilities and provide effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
