Job Title: Senior Learning & Training Officer / Senior Learning & Training Manager

Location: Coimbatore & Guwahati

Salary - 6-7 LPA


Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Zonal Trainer to join our team. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing training programs for Bank across a designated geographic region. The Zonal Trainer will work closely with zonal and regional managers to assess training needs, create training materials, and deliver engaging sessions to improve staff skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
  • Organize functional training sessions to ensure role clarity for new hires.
  • Deliver product training based on business needs.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance during the initial phase of new staff members.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training best practices.
  • Facilitate interactive training workshops and seminars to enhance sales abilities, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, making necessary improvements.
  • Oversee national and zonal projects as per requirements from Head Office or business units.
  • Travel to branch locations to deliver consistent and effective training programs.
  • Offer coaching and mentorship to branch staff to drive performance and growth.
  • Prepare and submit timely Management Information System (MIS) reports and related documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of banking, particularly in branch banking and micro-finance.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, ideally within a sales or retail setting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams to reach performance targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS). Experience in e-learning platforms is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned zone as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a focus on compliance.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current Manager-level or above professionals.
  • At least 12 months in the current role.
  • Minimum performance rating of 3 or higher.
