Job Title: Factory Manager / Manufacturing Head

Responsibilities:

 Oversee daily factory operations and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

 Develop and implement daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly production plans.

 Coordinate process control and collaborate with production and other departments for optimal plant utilization.

 Ensure efficient use of resources including manpower, machinery, and materials.

 Generate and analyze monthly reports on production and operations.

 Maintain ISO and other relevant documentation.

 Collaborate with the purchasing department for vendor development.

 Ensure regular calibration of all equipment.

 Uphold housekeeping standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

 Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

 Liaise with government departments as necessary.

 Negotiate with labor unions if required.

 Manage stock levels of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods.

 Control production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

 Oversee the maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.E) or Science (M.Sc.) with 15 years of experience in paint production.

 Degree in Paint Technology or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute is preferred.

 Minimum of five years of experience managing a paint unit.

 Extensive experience in decorative water-based paint production.

 Practical knowledge and ability to handle both production and maintenance tasks.

 Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends.

 Experience with ERP implementation in manufacturing environments.

 Strong leadership and team management skills.

 Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude.

 Tamil speaking is must, writing is desirable
