- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial and/or Marketing role in Diagnostics or Medical Device industry
- National (pan India) or International level experience
- Experience in New Product Launch
- Experience in Channel Partners Management
Job Summary This position is responsible for the development and implementation of tactical marketing programmes to drive margin and revenue for reagents; instruments; and software from the Transfusion and Transplant portfolio of Werfen within the region of APAC including China. The position is responsible for understanding the market needs of each territory within the region and responsible for devising plans and strategies accordingly. The position will also be responsible for sharing the marketing communications appropriately and also act as a conduit to deliver global marketing messages.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and lead the Transfusion and Transplant portfolio marketing strategy and ensure its in line with the Global Business Strategy
Maintain a good working relationship with Upstream and downstream marketing and entire APAC & China marketing team to remain aligned globally.
Understand the needs of the region and ensure that the marketing activities and programs are aligned with the needs.
Effectively position products to meet the financial goals and to design activities and events to promote the same
Drive product strategy based on continual interactions with prospects, customers and partners.
Conduct key marketing activities including but not limited to advertising; development and production of regional tools and circulating the same.
Product launch executions.
Provide competitive analysis tools and additional sales tools where needed.
Conduct specific training sessions to familiarise new employees/distributor personnel to these tools.
Provide support to sales and other field personnel including but not limited to product communications; fulfillment of marketing support requests.
Conduct national/international tradeshow programs; coordination with global marketing on booth themes and strategy and design.
Plan webinars every alternate month for Transfusion and Transplant and coordinate all activities for preparation, management and collection of leads.
Plan trainings for distributor employees and assist with business reviews.
Maintain presence in social media in alignment with corporate guidelines esp linkedin page through posting relevant content and managing escalations if any
Supports adoption of educational platforms (LEARN or others)
Ensures full compliance with global guidelines and Werfen Code of Ethics in all activities
