Job Description for Senior Social Media Executive


About the Role:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Social Media Executive located in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru. The Senior Social Media Executive will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns on various social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram for multiple clients from different industries. This role focuses heavily on the execution of social media strategies to boost brand recognition, enhance customer engagement, drive website traffic, and generate leads and conversions. The Senior Social Media Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, art, and camera crew.


Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Execution:

- Craft captivating and brand-aligned content across various formats (text, images, videos) that resonate with target audiences.

- Schedule and publish content strategically across platforms ensuring optimal reach and engagement.

- Assist in managing paid social media campaigns, optimizing budgets and targeting for maximum impact.


Community Management & Engagement:

- Foster positive brand interactions by actively engaging with followers, and responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.

- Monitor online brand sentiment and address any concerns proactively.

- Build and curate online communities that strengthen brand loyalty.


Performance Analysis & Reporting:

- Track key social media metrics such as reach, engagement, website traffic, and lead generation.

- Analyze data to identify campaign strengths and weaknesses, and use insights to optimize performance.

- Generate insightful reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in social media marketing, ideally within an agency setting.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.

- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and their algorithms.

- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and impactful content.

- Data-driven approach and proficiency in social media analytics tools.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Highly motivated, proactive, and a self-starter with a can-do attitude.

- Passion for creativity and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving social media landscape.
