Main Duty


The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure, focusing on a wide range of responsibilities from internal application maintenance to strategic project implementation. This role demands an adaptable individual who is keen on continuous learning, capable of suggesting technological improvements, and ready to take on varied tasks to support the IT department's goals.


Scope of Work


Application Maintenance and Enhancement: Regularly update and maintain critical IT applications to ensure functionality and alignment with business objectives.

Project Rollout and Implementation Support: Assist in deploying IT functionalities within India and in implementing strategic projects such as HRMS and CRM systems.

User Support and Helpdesk Management: Manage helpdesk tickets and provide effective support to resolve user issues promptly.

Business Process and System Analysis: Analyse and align IT support and project implementations with essential business processes.

Data Reporting and Analysis: Use Power BI, PowerAutomate, and other tools for insightful data reporting and process automation.

Training and User Empowerment: Conduct training sessions to enhance digital literacy and effective utilization of IT resources among users.

Collaboration and Reporting: Ensure effective communication with management and cross-functional teams across different locations.

Maintenance of Reporting Tools: Utilize Crystal Reports and SSRS to enhance reporting capabilities and data accuracy.

Security Compliance and Risk Management: Engage in activities to maintain security compliance and manage risks to IT assets.

Software and Hardware Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of IT assets to support efficient operations.

Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead efforts to optimize IT processes and workflows for better efficiency.

Documentation Creation and Management: Develop and maintain critical documents, including work procedures, test scripts, user manuals, change logs, incident reports, and knowledge bases, to ensure information is accurately recorded and accessible.

Continuous Learning and Improvement: Proactively learn about and suggest improvements in technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to contribute to various IT department needs.


Others


Follow all company rules and regulations and understand all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

To undertake special tasks whenever required.

Other duties as assigned.

The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative, but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the Company.

Position based in India, requiring regular online collaboration with international teams.

Flexible working hours to accommodate time zone differences and operational needs.

Potential for occasional travel for training, meetings, or project implementation support.


Job Specification


Education Attainment:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience:

1-3 years of relevant IT support experience.

Knowledge in .NET, SQL, Power BI, PowerAutomate, PowerApp, Crystal Reports, and SSRS is advantageous.

Basic knowledge of .NET and SQL; proficiency is an asset but not required.

Experience with Power BI, PowerAutomate, PowerApp, Crystal Reports, and SSRS considered a strong asset.

Solid understanding of business processes in ERP, HRM, and CRM systems.
