What are we looking for?


Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

  1. Provide technical guidance and support related to AWS infrastructure.
  2. Manage cloud disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to ensure data protection.
  3. Monitor cloud health and performance, responding to issues and anomalies to maintain system integrity.
  4. Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with application deployments.
  5. Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS environments.
  6. Implement and manage AWS services, including EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, EDR and others.
  7. Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  8. Maintaining cloud operations using AWS tools (Terraform) and third-party applications.
  9. Provide strategic direction and expertise in cloud architecture and AWS services.
  10. Advise on best practices for AWS cloud implementations, including cost management, security, and compliance.
  11. Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline AWS operations.
  12. Optimize AWS resources for cost-efficiency and performance improvements.
  13. Ensure AWS environments comply with security standards and best practices.
  14. Implement and manage security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection strategies.
  15. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for AWS-related issues.
  16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
  17. Document AWS architectures, configurations, and procedures.
  18. Provide training and mentorship to team members on AWS best practices and technologies.


Roles/Expectations from the role:


  1. Understanding of business requirements of the critical applications and ensure alignment. Should be able to perform all aspects of core administration from installation to disaster recovery
  2. Knowledgeable in backup/recovery, high availability, data replication and as per the requirement
  3. Able to work 24x7 support model and flexible for shifts
  4. Experience with analytical and problem-solving, excellent performance tuning skills
  5. Able to work well with all disciplines on the team


Minimum Qualification: 15 years of full-time education
