  • Monitor client accounts and follow up on overdue payments, implementing effective collection strategies.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate the collection process.
  • Maintain accurate records of client accounts, payment histories, and outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure smooth billing and payment processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on accounts receivable status, collections, and cash flow.
  • Provide regular updates to management on outstanding receivables and potential risks.
  • Forecast cash inflows based on payment schedules and expected client payments.
  • Ensure all processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve AR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in AR management, particularly within the digital marketing sector.

Key Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
