Job Description – Core Python DeveloperLocation: Bangalore (Hybrid) Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMHeadcount: 10–15 PositionsBudget: Open to DiscussionAbout the RoleWe are looking for highly skilled Core Python Developers who are strong in Python programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and other relevant modules. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of API development using Python.(Note: This is NOT a Data Engineering role; we are not looking for Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, or AWS skill sets.)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain Python-based applications.Build and maintain efficient APIs using Python frameworks.Work extensively with Pandas, NumPy, and other core Python libraries.Write clean, scalable, and well-structured code following best practices.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the application.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong Core Python programming skills (expected rating: 3.5–4 out of 5).Hands-on experience with:PandasNumPyPython standard libraries and utility modulesExperience in API development using Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django REST, etc.).Solid understanding of data manipulation, data structures, and algorithms.Knowledge of software development best practices and version control (Git).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice-to-Have (But Not Mandatory)Experience with unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest).Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of microservices architecture.What We Are Not Looking ForCandidates focused on Data Engineering or big data technologies such as:SparkPySparkHadoopAWS Big Data servicesWork EnvironmentHybrid work model available.Collaborative team of 10–15 Python professionals.Opportunity to work on high-visibility and long-term projects.
