AGM: Permits and Approvals

Full-time employee, Gurugram


Purpose/ Profile Summary:


Candidate shall be responsible for applying and obtaining all permits and approvals related to Solar, Wind, Hybrid Projects and Parks from concept till Commissioning, which shall include regular communication and/ or meeting with various State Government Authorities on pan India basis. Candidate shall also be responsible for coordinating with state level teams and ensure all deliverables are achieved in agreed timelines.


Key Job activities:

The candidate shall perform the following functions including but not limited to:

Approvals and Permits:


  • Identifying potential State/ substations and assess the feasibility of Project/ Parks in coordination with other teams including Land, Regulatory and Business development (BD) for development of Solar/ Wind/ Hybrid project
  • Planning, preparation, submission & getting various approvals/ permits from concerned Govt Authorities
  • Working closely with the project development team, follow-ups with clients and Govt Authorities regarding approvals and permits for projects/ parks and related documentation
  • Shall also be responsible for Project and Park level budget preparation, planning, and monitoring.
  • Collecting, updating, and sharing market intelligence including competition with HO on regular basis
  • Co-ordinate with state level project development teams and ensure all compliances are done on timely basis.


Your Profile:


  • Minimum 10 years of relevant & prior experience in Solar Project Development (Approvals and Permits related) and possesses strong network at State level agencies and thorough understanding of policy and regulatory framework.
  • Relationship and repo with senior and key decision makers at State Authorities is must along with clarity on policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Must have worked with the leading RE state such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka etc.
  • Thorough understanding of the functioning of Solar and Wind Power Projects and regulatory and government compliances needed in relation to Solar/Wind Projects/Parks
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Software skills - MS office (hands-on), writing letters/ emails


Qualification and Educational Requirements


B.E. or B. Tech. along with MBA from any reputed institute shall be preferred
