Josmo & So LLP is seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a design studio and furniture manufacturer with a retail presence in Mumbai, we are dedicated to redefining expression through innovative design and championing bespoke Indian craftsmanship.


Role Description:


As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you'll spearhead both B2B and retail sales strategies, ensuring the seamless operation of our sales functions. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in lead generation, collaborating closely with our design and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to our diverse clientele.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead B2B and retail sales initiatives, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ambassador for our brand.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the furniture industry, leveraging your industry knowledge and network.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and align with our brand ethos.
  • Actively participate in lead generation activities, proactively seeking out potential clients and nurturing leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, demonstrating a results-driven mindset and a commitment to excellence.
  • Work collaboratively across departments, fostering a cohesive team environment and ensuring alignment towards common goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, maintaining a strong understanding of the design industry and furniture market.
  • Promote Indian craftsmanship and sustainable design practices, championing our commitment to ethical and responsible manufacturing.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions, embodying the values of Josmo Studio.


Qualifications & Skill requirement:


  • 2-6 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the furniture industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of the design industry and furniture market, including current trends and key players.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Passion for design and craftsmanship, with a keen appreciation for Indian heritage and innovation.
