Fund Accountant - Portfolio Management Services


About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our Portfolio Management Services (PMS) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Data Management

  - Set up and maintain master data in the Wealth Spectrum Platform

  - Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems


2. Daily Operations

  - Process and record daily transactions

  - Manage end-of-day and beginning-of-day processes

  - Coordinate with vendor partners for seamless operations


3. Reconciliation and Reporting

  - Perform daily reconciliation of financial data

  - Extract and prepare relevant reports for customer sharing

  - Generate SEBI compliance reports at required frequencies


4. System Management

  - Proficiently use and maintain the Wealth Spectrum Platform

  - Suggest and implement improvements to streamline processes


5. Compliance and Audit Support

  - Assist in preparing documentation for audits

  - Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and internal policies


Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in PMS

- Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products

- Proficiency in Wealth Spectrum Platform and advanced Excel skills

- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team


Preferred:

- Experience with multiple investment products (stocks, commodities, fixed income, structured products)

- Knowledge of SEBI regulations related to PMS

- Experience in Wealth Spectrum Platform
