Job Overview


As a Principal Data Engineer at Anblicks, you will be at the forefront of driving our clients' data and analytics transformations. Your role involves designing and presenting cutting-edge data architectures, fostering client relationships as a trusted advisor, and delivering impactful data solutions that align with business objectives.


This role requires strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for driving data excellence across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect Solutions: Design, present, and align data architecture vision with client strategies and objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with executives, providing expert guidance to achieve their business goals.
  • Innovation Leadership: Develop and implement advanced solutions for Data Products, Descriptive & Diagnostic Analytics, APIs, Intelligent Workflows, and Data Marketplaces.
  • Strategic Guidance: Lead assessments and engagements to create data platforms and products with measurable business impact.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with Sales teams on pre-sales efforts and account strategy development, showcasing thought leadership.
  • Value Delivery: Demonstrate platform capabilities through demos, Proof of Concepts (POCs), workshops, and design sessions.
  • Expertise Building: Maintain in-depth knowledge of leading data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Fabric.
  • Community Development: Establish and enhance the Architecture Community and Practice at Anblicks to promote knowledge sharing and innovation.


Required Skills and Experience


  • Education: Bachelors/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 8+ years in roles such as Solution Architect, Data Architect, or Data Engineer with hands-on engineering and architecture expertise.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Comprehensive understanding of data workflows, including ETL, BI, and ML tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure, and Snowflake platforms (minimum 4 years).
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and other scripting languages.
  • Expertise in implementing data security, governance, and access controls within platforms like Snowflake.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong domain expertise in industries like Retail, BFSI, or Healthcare.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and others.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Advanced understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
