Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer with 7-8 years of experience across front-end, back-end, and AI/ML architectures, with expertise in building scalable, enterprise-grade systems. You’ll lead the architecture and technical vision of our high-performance fraud detection platform, guide our engineering teams, and ensure seamless integration of our models and data processing pipelines. Key Responsibilities Architecture Design and Implementation: Define and oversee the full-stack architecture, covering front-end, back-end, and AI/ML integration, optimized for low latency and high transaction volumes. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, manage backlogs, and prioritize tasks, driving excellence in both technical delivery and team collaboration. Advanced Model Integration: Implement and optimize machine learning models for real-time fraud detection and anomaly scoring. Data Processing and Pipelines: Architect data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Py Spark, and Kafka to handle real-time and batch data processing across multiple sources. Enterprise-Grade Security and Compliance: Design systems that meet stringent security requirements and financial compliance standards, including data encryption, access control, and logging. Scalability and Optimization: Ensure the platform can scale effectively to handle millions of transactions, optimizing data flows and service orchestration for high availability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI, data engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment. Required Qualifications Experience: 7-8 years in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead or architect role. Experience in the fraud detection or finance industry is a plus. Technical Expertise: Full-Stack Knowledge: Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and back-end languages like Python, Java, or Node.js. Machine Learning Models: Familiarity with deploying and optimizing models such as GNNs,and other advanced models. Data Processing and Orchestration: Experience with data engineering tools, including Apache Airflow for orchestration, Py Spark for big data processing, and Apache Kafka for streaming. Cloud and Dev Ops: Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD). Database Expertise: Proficient in SQL and No SQL databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, Mongo DB) and experience in data modeling for high-frequency applications.
