Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:

-Prepare and review accurate and timely standalone and consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

-Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other relevant accounting standards.

-Develop and implement financial reporting processes and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Analysis and Interpretation:

-Analyze financial performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

-Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Compliance and Internal Controls:

-Ensure all financial reports adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

-Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls related to financial reporting.

  • Financial month Close Process:

-Manage the financial month close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately and timely.

-Coordinate with other departments to ensure all financial data is complete and accurate.

  • Audit Coordination:

-Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.

-Address audit inquiries and ensure timely resolution of any issues identified during audits.

  • Team Leadership:

-Supervise and mentor the team, providing guidance and support as needed.

-Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Continuous Improvement:

-Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting.

-Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CA) is preferred.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting or a related field, with demonstrated experience in managing financial reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of IGAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to various stakeholders.
