About the Job:
Birlasoft is seeking a junior PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant typically involves supporting, maintaining, and developing applications within the PeopleSoft environment.
Position: Junior PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant
Location: Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of PeopleSoft applications.
- Work closely with senior technical consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PeopleSoft applications with other systems and applications.
- Support end-users by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering training as needed.
- Stay updated with PeopleSoft technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in PeopleSoft implementation project as a technical consultant
- Should have PeopleSoft Techno functional Skills including but not limited to People Code, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker, File Layout, XML Publisher, Application Package, AWE, Excel to CI, Fluid Development, and exposure to PS HCM functionalities – Recruitment, Performance Management, Absence, time and Labor, Core HR, Security.
- knowledge of Absence Management configuration and processing procedures and Time & Labor module preferred.
- Good to have Core HR, E-performance modules.
- Good hands-on experience in People Code, Application Engine Fluid page , Integration Broker PS Query , BI Publisher , SQR , Component Interface and Excel to CI
- Functional expertise in setting up Entitlements, Takes, Accumulators, Leave rules, integration with payroll and time & labor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
