Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated HR Intern for a full-time remote position at Elemantix. The HR Intern will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, HR documentation, and personnel management. This role involves assisting in the implementation of HR policies, managing employee benefits, and contributing to a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow in all aspects of human resources while supporting day-to-day HR operations in a dynamic, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates, as well as coordinating interviews and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Engagement: Support activities that promote a positive work culture, including organizing team-building events and facilitating employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Documentation & Data Management: Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation, while supporting data entry and reporting for recruitment, performance, and attendance.
- Training & Development: Assist with organizing and facilitating employee training programs, and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
- HR Projects & Research: Participate in HR projects such as performance reviews, policy updates, and research on HR best practices and market trends.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, and assist in managing employee benefits and payroll information.
- HR Reporting & Presentations: Help prepare reports, presentations, and materials for HR meetings.
- General HR Support: Contribute to various HR tasks as assigned, ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day HR operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and candidates, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in managing documents, data, and HR records.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and maintain professionalism when working with sensitive information.
- Time Management: Effective at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and familiar with HR software.
- HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management practices.
- Learning & Adaptability: Enthusiasm for HR practices, proactive in seeking out learning opportunities, and able to adapt to changing environments.
- Teamwork & Independence: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, with a positive attitude and eagerness to contribute.
