Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA)- Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Specialist to join our team in the Bariking industry. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of FCC areas such as AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring. This role is crucial in ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant regulations and maintains a high standard of integrity


Key Responsibilities


Conduct reviews of sanctions screening processes (ie., Transaction Filtering, sanctions list maintenance) to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Execute periodic QA reviews of sanctions screening alerts, dispositions, and escalations to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements


Identity trends and root causes of false positives or any inconsistencies in the sanctions screening processes


Collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to propose process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance controls Prepare draft issues and reports for quality assurance activities for timely escalation and management reporting


Qualifications/Skill Required


Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field


5 to 18 years of experience in AML/KYC compliance, sanctions screening, or external/internal audit, preferably within a financial institution


Understanding of regulatory requirements in the Banking industry


Familarity with sanctions screening tools, systems, as well as proficiency in Excel or other data analytics tools will be beneficial Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
