Human Resources Manager - Mumbai

Job Summary:

Our client, a fast-growing EdTech company, is seeking an HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance. This role requires a dynamic HR professional who can manage talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in HR functions, along with expertise in HR software, payroll systems, and workforce management tools.

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring seamless talent acquisition using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, or Lever.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Oversee employee engagement programs, training & development initiatives, and performance management systems such as 15Five, Lattice, or Culture Amp.
  • Maintain and update employee records, payroll, and benefits administration using HRMS and payroll systems like Zoho People, BambooHR, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Address employee grievances, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Assist in workforce planning, compensation structuring, and succession planning, leveraging HR analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure smooth HR operations and compliance through regular audits and process improvements.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, and compliance with hands-on experience in HRMS platforms.
  • Expertise in performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning, using HR tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to handle employee relations effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple HR functions efficiently.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems, ensuring smooth automation of HR processes.

Role Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in HR management, talent acquisition, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and workplace best practices.
  • Experience in using HR technology and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end HR operations, from recruitment to employee engagement.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in HR metrics and reporting.

Education: MBA/PG in HR or related field

Experience: 4+ years in HR roles

Work Schedule: Full-time (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
