Position: Business Development Head - Digital Media Services

As the Head of BD, Digital Media Services, you will be responsible for driving tech offered DMS growth and increase customer base at PFT. You will lead the efforts to identify new offerings to our DMS portfolio, enhance and support the execution team, technology, identify new business opportunities, work closely with internal teams and customers to drive growth year over year by focusing digital media excellence.


Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Drive business development efforts to acquire new logos and expand the customer base and revenues.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for digital media content distribution, Digitization, restoration and Compliance verticals.
  • Identify market trends, acceptance and emerging technologies to capitalize new opportunities in advance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within PFT, Customers and partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive DMS growth and expansion.
  • Review new opportunities, work with sales and bid team to put together the right commercials and proposals. Develop and execute sales strategies, pitch and proposals to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
  • Work with Ops heads and SPOCs to efficiently and effectively run POCs, review and document SOPs
  • Drive revenue growth with innovative GTMs, collaborate with sales and marketing reams to create compelling value proposition.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, competitor growth plans etc and use the data insights for informed decision making. Adjust strategies to have competitive edge when required.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and expanding service offerings by understanding customer requirements.
  • Establish KPIs to measure PFT’s DMS initiatives, GTMs and customer relationships.
  • Track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement. Analyse data insights and performance metrics to optimize strategies, drive continuous improvement, and demonstrate ROI and overall growth.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, digital media, or M&E industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media landscape including social media, OTT platforms, content distribution platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment of DMS industry and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence within the DMS team for AI and technology adoption.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
