The Head of Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of technology platforms within the region. This position requires a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and strong project management skills to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the technology and delivery teams in India, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Build a cohesive, high-performing team by recruiting top talent and nurturing existing staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all technology platform projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Implement and monitor project management processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology and delivery operations.
  • Ensure the technical architecture and infrastructure are scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the company's roadmap.
  • Drive technical excellence and best practices within the engineering teams.
  • Work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and other departments to align technology efforts with business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather requirements, and manage expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Develop and manage the technology and platform delivery budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technology and platform delivery operations.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Deep technical expertise in relevant technologies and frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing technology or platform delivery.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading engineering teams.
  • Experience in both startup and enterprise environments is a plus.
