Role Overview:

As the Vice President of Risk Advisory, you will lead our risk management practice and provide strategic guidance to clients across various industries. Leveraging your expertise in risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance, you will play a key role in helping organizations identify and address potential threats to their business operations.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Lead risk assessments and evaluations to identify areas of exposure and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
  3. Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management principles into business processes and decision-making.
  5. Conduct comprehensive reviews of internal controls and processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  6. Stay abreast of emerging risks and trends in the regulatory landscape and provide timely insights to clients.
  7. Engage with senior executives and board members to communicate risk findings and recommendations.
  8. Lead client engagements, including scoping, planning, and execution of risk advisory projects.
  9. Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their technical skills and industry knowledge.
  10. Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationships.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 15-18 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on advisory services.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading risk advisory projects and delivering results for clients.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in risk management tools and technologies.
