Job Description:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our POS systems and providing exceptional technical support to our clients. This is a full-time remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a talented and collaborative team from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via email, phone, or remote assistance tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to our POS systems and resolve customer support requests in a timely manner.
- Assist clients with system setup, hardware configuration, inventory management, payment processing, sales and discounts, customization, multi-store configuration, security and compliance, integration with other systems, training and documentation, testing and validation, backup, and recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance to address complex technical issues.
- Document support cases, solutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide informed support and recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years' of proven experience in technical support or customer service roles, preferably in the POS or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of POS systems and related technologies, including system setup, hardware configuration, inventory management, payment processing, and customization.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and tools for diagnosing technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical users.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday - 4:30 AM to 12:30 AM IST
- Friday and Saturday - 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM IST
- Sun - 11 PM IST to 5 AM IST or 4:30 AM IST to 1 PM IST
Monthly Pay:
INR 25,000 to 35,000 per month
Variable based on performance and CSAT
