1000 Women Initiative (1000W) is an early-stage startup that tackles the global challenge of lack of women in leadership by providing a range of networking, career advancement and leadership development solutions to individuals and organizations. We are on a mission to building the largest leadership network for women executives in India and eventually worldwide.


Our strategy rests on 2 main pillars:

  • Build and engage a fast-growing network of women in leadership roles
  • B2B solutions for organizations to hire and develop great talent


We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Co-founder to lead our go-to-market strategy and drive commercial growth. As a commercial co-founder, you will be a key member of the leadership team, playing a vital role in shaping 1000W’s future. Ideally, you will have a proven track record in scaling enterprise B2B businesses, combined with an excellent understanding of product-market strategy.


Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute 1000W business plan and go-to-market strategy
  • Lead the creation and implementation of sales and marketing programs that effectively target and engage with key enterprise customer segments.
  • Oversee all aspects of the customer journey, from lead generation and qualification to successful customer onboarding and retention.
  • Develop strong relationships with key industry partners and influencers, expanding 1000W reach and market access.
  • Manage product and pricing strategies, ensuring value proposition resonates with target customers.
  • Provide strategic insights and forecasts to the leadership team, informing business decisions.
  • Represent 1000W at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building brand awareness and establishing thought leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a product / commercial leadership role, ideally within the enterprise tech space serving B2B clients
  • Experienced founders and experienced operators who have proven experience of going from 0-1 across South Asia, with experience building and scaling highly competent teams.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and marketing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of 1000W offerings to diverse audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A passion for 1000W’s mission and the potential of technology to change the face of leadership
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a "go-to-market" mentality.
