As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities for our software development services. The ideal candidate has a solid track record of at least two years of successful sales in the software development sector and is well-versed in freelance marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently meet and exceed sales targets for software development services.
Platform Sales: Actively secure deals on Fiverr, Upwork, and other freelance platforms, ensuring a consistent performance of meeting and exceeding targets.
Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify potential clients, assess their needs, and pitch software development solutions tailored to their business challenges.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare and submit high-quality proposals, manage bids, and negotiate contracts to close deals effectively on various platforms.
Market Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, etc.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, client engagement metrics, and project outcomes, regularly updating leadership on progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in software development services on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, or other freelance marketplaces.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, with a portfolio of closed deals and happy clients.
Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and how to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical clients.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and compelling manner, both in written and verbal communication.
Negotiation Skills: Skilled in negotiation, proposal writing, and contract management, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering excellent customer service and developing long-term client relationships.
Freelance Platform Expertise: Expertise in optimizing freelance platform profiles, creating competitive proposals, and leveraging platform algorithms to boost visibility.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with additional sales channels, including LinkedIn and other social selling platforms.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation software.
A background in digital marketing or content creation to assist with client outreach efforts.
