Job Summary: As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in setting up and leading

the entire Data Science team, managing multiple projects, and ensuring project maturity from

concept to completion. You will work closely with clients, providing hands-on expertise in

building and optimizing recommendation engines, deep learning models, and natural language

processing (NLP) solutions. This role requires a strong drive to learn, excellent client interaction

skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a 30-person team.


Key Responsibilities:

● Leadership & Team Building: Handhold and guide the Data Science team, managing

the entire lifecycle of multiple projects and ensuring alignment with business goals.

● Technical Expertise: Lead the development and optimization of recommendation

engine models, utilizing deep learning and NLP techniques.

● Project Management: Oversee the project lifecycle from 0 to 1, ensuring project

maturity and successful delivery.

● Client Interaction: Maintain excellent client relationships, understanding their needs

and delivering data-driven solutions.

● Hands-On Involvement: Actively participate in project development, providing technical

expertise where needed.


Required Skills & Experience:

● 5+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven track record of building

recommendation engines.

● Experience in the Travel or Fintech industry is highly desirable.

● Strong proficiency in Python and related data science libraries.

● Expertise in Deep Learning and NLP.

● Proven ability to set up and lead a Data Science team, with experience managing

multiple projects.

● Excellent communication skills with a hunger to learn and grow.
