The Mall – Assistant Manager-Marketing

Job Description

 The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for support of the Marketing Department in all aspects of its operation. The Assistant Marketing Manager requires planning and execution of special events, public relations efforts, merchant communication and relations, community relations and advertising and collateral production and sponsorship programs. The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible to ensure appropriate representation of The Mall. The Assistant Marketing Manager is charged to ensure that the programs, events and activities are in line with the Marketing Plan goals and strategies as well as Company standards.

Job requirement-

·   Has a relevant experience in Marketing/ Mall Positioning/ Digital Marketing, Revenue Generation from selling space and SOH

·      Minimum work Experience of 7- 10 years

·     Residing in Bengaluru

·       Is a Go getter and has strong relationship with Brands and Ad agencies

·       To increase the footfall and visibility of the mall

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Revenue Generation- Key Criteria

·       Marketing manager will be responsible for generating revenues for the mall through selling potential spaces in the mall

·       Generating revenue by selling ad spaces/ Banners/ Ads on digital screens to brands

·       Planning and positioning revenues through SOH

·       Monitoring and planning monthly targets for revenue generation and achieving targets month on month

1.          Special Event and Marketing Program Management

·       Concept, planning and implementation of all event initiatives.(Mall sponsored community events, merchandising events, fundraising events, third party / partner events and retailer based events)

·       Establish special event budget and manage event costs.

·       Prepare event notifications outlining responsibilities to ensure event needs are communicated to department heads and teams.

·       Document each event and create event recaps that include: photos, return on investment, retailer / partner results, press clippings, as well as event summary.

·       Preparation of promotional materials and collateral to support events.

·       Orchestrate merchant participation in Mall sponsored and endorsed partner events.

2.  Social Media and Public Relations

·       Set annual and quarterly goals for Social Media platforms.

·       Work with digital marketing coordinator to set social promotional calendar.

·       Establish social media strategy.

·       Oversee social media voice to maintain brand consistency.

·       Direct 3rd party writers and bloggers.

·       Provide direction and oversight of social media program.

·       Maintain press list and keep contacts current.

·       Coordinate merchant participation for print and broadcast PR purposes.

·       Organize and calculate Mall press clippings.

3.     Advertising

·       Responsible to ensure that The Mall website is in line with brand.

·       Initiate and oversee website updates.

·       Responsible for Facebook posts/email blasts promoting Mall and its retailers.

·       Assist in ad campaign planning and execution.

·       Manage the media insertion schedule.

·       Ensure that Mall signage is current.
