Novigo Solutions is seeking an experienced Mendix Architect to lead and design enterprise-grade low-code applications using the Mendix platform. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a deep understanding of the Mendix ecosystem, capable of crafting scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions for our clients while mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Define the technical architecture for Mendix applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Translate business requirements into Mendix application designs.
  • Establish best practices for development and deployment.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Mendix developers.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
  • Conduct technical reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Implementation & Integration:
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Mendix applications.
  • Integrate Mendix solutions with existing systems, databases, and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Technology Advocacy:
  • Stay abreast of Mendix platform updates, ensuring teams are informed of new features and capabilities.
  • Advocate for Mendix adoption and educate stakeholders about its benefits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 8+ years of overall experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform, including design and architecture.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of Mendix platform capabilities, including microflows, domain models, and widgets.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integration, APIs, and middleware.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in database design and optimization.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to IoT, AI, or other emerging technologies.
