Muses Consulting Studio is the premier marketplace for student services, facilitating partnerships between student groups and companies. Our past expertise ranges from content creation, marketing- campaigns, campus ambassadorship, and product development to data engineering, software development, user testing, market research, and analytics.


Muses has a history of successful collaborations with industry leaders such as Amazon Studios, Warner Brothers, McDonalds, and Doordash, as well as numerous innovative startups.


We are on the hunt for someone who understands what makes the youth, the Muses of the future, and the clients that can partner with them, tick. Think of somebody caffeinated and wide-eyed who is ready to work VERY hard.


Roles and Responsibilities:


As the Student Marketing Manager for Muses, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence within the student community. Your primary focus will be on managing our social media, developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that create brand awareness, fostering engagement, and ultimately student sign-ups to join the Muses community. This role requires a deep understanding of student culture, effective communication skills, and a passion for connecting with young audiences.


On-Ground Marketing Strategy Campaign Development:

  • Design and implement creative marketing campaigns for Muses targeting the student community, developing large multi-channel marketing strategies using an integrated mix of on-campus activations and social media
  • Organize and oversee campus activations, pop-up events, and experiential marketing initiatives that promote brand visibility and encourage student participation.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of student brand ambassadors to ensure consistent, impactful brand messaging across various touchpoints on campus.
  • Establish relationships with student organizations, influencers, and relevant campus groups to expand the brand’s reach and create opportunities for collaboration.
  • Stay informed on campus trends, student preferences, and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies and increase engagement.


Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Instagram and TikTok which is highly aligned with trends and Gen-Z culture. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, videos) across platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights for optimization.
  • Identify and partner with key student influencers and student organizations to drive Muses’ brand awareness among college students.
  • Develop engaging and shareable content, including social media posts, videos, and blog articles that highlight the benefits of joining the Muses community.
  • Write and distribute newsletters that inform and inspire students about upcoming events, community highlights, and valuable resources.


Community Building:

  • Merchandise Development Distribution: Design and manage the creation of branded merchandise, such as welcome kits, apparel, and accessories, to be distributed to students during events, activations, or as part of ambassador programs.
  • Campus Postering Campaigns: Organize and manage campus-wide postering initiatives to increase brand visibility. Work with student ambassadors and local vendors to ensure posters are strategically placed in high-traffic areas.
  • Event Planning Execution: Plan and oversee branded events on campuses, such as pop-up activations, workshops, and networking mixers that provide engaging experiences for students while promoting Muses.
  • Ambassador Program Management: Collaborate with the student ambassador team to support their promotional efforts, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to represent the brand effectively on campus.
  • Guerilla Marketing & Grassroots Initiatives: Implement creative, low-cost marketing strategies, such as flash mobs, chalk art campaigns, and free product giveaways, to generate buzz and excitement around the Muses brand.Digital Integration
  • Social Media Coordination: Align campus-based marketing efforts with Muses digital and social media strategies. Capture content during events and student interactions to share on Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in student engagement, event planning and social media marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and influencing through content.
  • A strong understanding of Gen Z trends, student organizations, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.


Note: Please note that this position requires availability primarily during EST and PST hours, which falls in the timeframe of 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM IST. We request that only candidates who can work within these specified hours apply. This role is entirely remote.
