JOB DESCRIPTION – SCRUM MASTER

We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced scrum Master with 6-8 years of industry

experience to join our Network Automation team. The ideal candidate should have experience in

driving the projects in Network automation / Web application development. Please refer the key

responsibilities for more details.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing the end-to-end delivery of automation solutions, establishing and controlling

project constraints and scope.

2. Maintaining project plan, sequences of activities, resource planning, scheduling, estimating

time to market.

3. Maintain and timely communicate on project risks, monitor and take required actions

efficiently and effectively on project risks, assumptions, issues and address dependencies. Providing

clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues.

4. Agreeing approach to delivery within the delivery project team.

5. Managing relationships and communication with all project stakeholders

6. Leading and coaching the development project team as appropriate and according to the

needs of the individual project.

7. Leading the development project team as a scrum team and ensuring team adherence to

scrum theory, practices and rules, and work as a servant leader within the project team.

8. Manages daily standup, sprint, and retrospectives, coordination of releases, removal of

impediments to project progress.

9. Providing regular, constructive feedback to project team members and their functional

managers/module leads.

10. Providing periodic progress updates on projects to program manager and key stakeholders.

11. Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with all customers including

suppliers and third parties.

12. Resolve team conflicts, reduce disruptions, reduce WIP and update burndown charts regularly.

13. Resolves project issues through direct action or escalation, when necessary.

Candidate Profile

1. Experienced in the delivery of projects in an agile environment.

2. Experienced (preferably certified) Scrum Master, with experience of other project

frameworks such as Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Kanban.

3. Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated with a focus on customer service.

4. Able to work independently, excellent personal organisation and able to demonstrate

consistently balanced good judgement and logical thought prioritisation.

5. Very strong interpersonal skills including facilitation and coaching and able to lead and

influence others.

6. A real interest in problem solving and focused on results.

7. Experience in the use of project tools and techniques to facilitate effective project delivery

(example: JIRA, Rally, Confluence, and MS Project).

8. Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

9. Exposure to or awareness of all phases of software development projects including analysis,

systems design, development and testing approaches.

10. Experience in technologies relevant to the ISP and Telecoms sector.

 Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a

related field.

Good to Have:

1. Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.

2. Familiarity with software testing and quality assurance processes and Networking concepts.

3. CCNA (Routing & Switching or Service Provider) level networking Knowledge is a plus
