Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our production, quality control, packaging, logistics, and returns management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, particularly in the apparel or e-commerce sector, and will be responsible for overseeing a team dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate daily operations, including quality control, packaging, stock management, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of executives for QC & Packaging, Logistics & Shipping, Returns & Claims, and Warehouse Management. Ensure that all team members are performing effectively and meeting their targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement robust quality control processes to ensure all products meet the company’s high standards before dispatch.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the production team to ensure timely availability of products. Oversee stock-out processes and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate with shipping partners, manage dispatch schedules, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle order processing on marketplace platforms like Myntra.
  • Returns & Claims Management: Oversee the processing of returns, ensuring quality checks are conducted, and manage the claims process with marketplaces for any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze operational workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including KPIs related to order fulfillment, returns, and claims. Provide actionable insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the apparel or e-commerce industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shipping software like Shiprocket.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
