The Curriculum Development Manager helps us achieve this mission by designing world-class curricula, assessments and lesson plans that meet the needs of affordable schools in all parts of India. We are looking for highly competent professionals who are excited by the idea of democratizing quality teaching tools and techniques to students and teachers in APS.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and review subjects‑specific, error‑free student course books, workbooks, differentiated worksheets, lesson plans, audiovisual content, and other teaching‑learning materials that work well in schools with limited resources.
  • Research best practices—both global and local—and innovate new methods to enhance learning outcomes in LEAD partner schools.
  • Develop content for at least two distinct products under the same subject umbrella, ensuring conceptual coherence and a consistent pedagogical approach across products.


EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2.5 years of experience in developing and reviewing subject-specific content and lesson plans, including either teaching the content directly or supporting teachers to ensure its effective delivery.
  • Preliminary understanding of pedagogical tools and practices relevant to the subject of application.
  • Broad understanding of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 and its implications for classroom practice.
  • Familiarity with curricular goals aligned with CBSE and NCERT standards.
  • Prior experience working with teachers from schools with limited resources is preferred, though not mandatory.
