Role Description

The Community Outreach Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders to promote the hospital’s services and programs. This role involves planning and executing outreach activities, health camps, and awareness programs to improve community engagement and access to healthcare services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:

Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, NGOs, schools, and other local organizations.

Act as a liaison between the hospital and the community to address healthcare needs and concerns.


2. Health Promotion and Awareness:

Organize and manage health camps, screenings, and awareness drives for various health issues.

Collaborate with clinical teams to provide educational sessions on preventive care, chronic diseases, and wellness.

Create and distribute informational materials about the hospital’s services.


3. Event Planning and Execution:

Plan and coordinate community health events, including logistics, staffing, and promotion.

Represent the hospital at community meetings, fairs, and events to raise awareness of healthcare initiatives.


4. Outreach Strategy Development:

Identify target communities and design outreach programs to meet their specific healthcare needs.

Develop and execute strategic plans to increase the hospital’s visibility and reach within the community.


5. Data Collection and Reporting

Collect feedback from community members and analyze the impact of outreach activities.

Prepare reports on outreach efforts, attendance, and outcomes to measure success and identify areas for improvement.


6. Collaboration with Hospital Teams:

Work closely with marketing, clinical, and administrative teams to align outreach activities with hospital goals.

Ensure outreach programs comply with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
  • Community Engagement and Community Management skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • Experience in healthcare or community outreach
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field


Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in community outreach, public health, or a similar role in the healthcare sector.
