Job Title: NAV/BC Technical Consultant.

Location: Ahmedabad (on-site).

Experience: 5+ years.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
  • Customize and extend core applications using AL language, C/AL, C/SIDE, and .NET integration.
  • Perform data migration from legacy systems to Business Central, including development and execution of data conversion scripts.
  • Develop and maintain integration points between Business Central and other enterprise systems (e.g., third-party APIs, REST/SOAP services).
  • Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to NAV/Business Central performance, functionality, and integration.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and deliver custom reports using SSRS, Power BI, or other tools.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Write detailed documentation for customizations, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Dynamics updates and best practices to recommend improvements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working as a technical consultant with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
  • Proficiency in programming with AL, C/AL, C/SIDE, and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture.
  • Experience with data migration, upgrades, and integration between NAV/BC and other systems.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server and database management.
  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP API development and integration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC certification is highly desirable.
