Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and maintenance for our web hosting, app, and website development services. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving client issues, ensuring the stability of systems, and offering exceptional customer service to keep our clients' businesses running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues related to web hosting, server performance, and website development.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and hosting issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor server performance, including uptime, bandwidth, and system health, and address any concerns.
  • Install, configure, and maintain server systems, applications, and hardware.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to resolve client issues and provide solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Assist in server migrations, backups, and data recovery processes.
  • Respond to and prioritize incoming support requests via ticketing systems, phone, and email.
  • Document all troubleshooting and resolution steps, ensuring proper knowledge management.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the best possible solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT support technician, systems administrator, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of web hosting, server environments, and networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, etc.), web hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk), and FTP/SFTP tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Good understanding of server management, backups, and security protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields is a plus.
