Job Description:

As a Placement Coordinator for Bihar and Jharkhand, you will be responsible for facilitating the placement of individuals into suitable employment opportunities within the specified region. Your role will involve collaborating with educational institutions, vocational training centers, employers, and government agencies to ensure successful placements for job seekers.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Liaison with Educational Institutions and Vocational Training Centers:

·      Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and vocational training centers to identify potential candidates for placement.

·      Coordinate with faculty members and career counselors to understand the skill sets of students and alumni.

2.    Employer Engagement:

·      Actively engage with local and regional employers to understand their hiring needs and preferences.

·      Develop partnerships with companies across various sectors to create employment opportunities for candidates.

3.    Candidate Assessment and Preparation:

·      Conduct assessments to evaluate the skills, interests, and career goals of job seekers.

·      Provide guidance and support to candidates on resume writing, interview preparation, and other job search strategies.

4.    Placement Management:

·      Match candidates with suitable job openings based on their qualifications and preferences.

·      Coordinate interviews between candidates and employers, and provide necessary follow-up support.

·      Ensure smooth onboarding processes for placed candidates, including necessary documentation and orientation.

5.    Data Management and Reporting:

·      Maintain accurate records of candidate profiles, job placements, and employer partnerships.

·      Generate reports on placement activities, outcomes, and trends for internal and external stakeholders.

6.    Community Outreach and Networking:

·      Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry forums to promote placement services.

·      Collaborate with local community organizations and government agencies to expand outreach efforts and support job seekers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, placement services, or human resource management is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of local labor market trends and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and database management.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to achieving placement targets.
